Chase swimmer Ben Wood equalled Terri Dunnings club record of 9 National Qualifying times at the West Midland Regional Championships when he took Gold in the 200m Butterfly with a time of 2 min 24.63 sec.
Ben was one of 14 Chase swimmers who qualified for this years Championships.
Over the last 2 weekends (7/8th + 14/15th June) at Coventy's 50m pool, 7 Chase Age Group swimmers joined Ben in an impressive 2008 campaign with 5 of these swimmers making finals.
Other finalist with Ben were, Joe Kinsell, Peter Sullivan, John Brachmanski and Bessie Baker.
Adam Silvester and Christie Ghent also impressed with Personal best times.
These Age Group Championships were a big success for Chase following the success of the Youth swimmers in the Regional Youth Championships earlier this year.
In these, Keira Wilkinson, Megan Coughlan, Rianne Soliel, Catherine Arnold and Hannah Dabbs all had excellent swims.

Chase coach Paul Grainger was delighted by the attitude and performance of all his Midland swimmers who confirmed their high status in the country.
They, together with his other squad of swimmers had worked tremendously hard throughout the year to achieve their well deserved rewards.
