Youre First Gala With Chase Swimming Club |

Some Important things to remember. You will need to know the date, start time and where the venue
is. You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time and
be on poolside 5 minutes before the warm up.
·
In
your bag you must bring with you 2 towels, 2 costumes, goggles, Chase
swimming hat, Chase Tee shirt and a soft drink. ·
When
you arrive at the pool report to the team manager. Your name will
be on the team sheet. ·
You will be told when to
do your warm up and which lane to use. ·
After
the warm up get dry and stay warm by putting on your Chase Tee shirt. ·
If
you need to leave the poolside for any reason you must ask your team
manger first for permission. ·
Stay
with your friends and encourage your team mates. ·
Your
team manager will tell you which race you are in and what lane you
must swim in. ·
The
referee is in charge of the Gala. The starter will start each race
using a gun or signal. ·
If
it is not your race you must stand still and be quiet when the whistle
goes for the start of each race. ·
When
the signal goes and the race starts you must swim as fast as you can. ·
At
the end of your race you must stay in the water until you are told
to leave by the referee. ·
After
your race go back to your team manager to see if you have another
race. ·
Do
not get dressed until your team manager tells you to do so. |
